Stolen Days exists somewhere between the song and the sample; the beat and the band. Formed by Alex Fitts (aka The Kickdrums) and producer Dub Sonata, the duo blends decades of collective experience into something raw, melodic, and unconfined by genre.
Alex brings a songwriter’s vulnerability and an ear for atmosphere — known for shaping moody records that blur the lines between styles. Dub Sonata’s global sense of rhythm and sample-based storytelling grounds the music in Hip-Hop, while pushing Alex forward into new sonic territory adjacent to dream pop and neo-psychedelia.
Their individual roots in production stretch from major-label work by Kid Cudi, Sza and Jidenna, to cult releases from Sage Francis, Rhymefest and RA The Rugged Man. Together, they create adventurous harmonies wrapped in distorted guitars, fractured rhythms, and unpredictable structures designed to be felt as much as heard.
